Czech Tour 2025: World-Class Cycling Comes to Kroměříž! 🚲
Cycling fans, take note. On Sunday, 17 August 2025, Kroměříž will host the final, so-called “queen” stage of the prestigious Czech Tour cycling race. The town will see the start of top world teams and the biggest cycling stars of today. Come and experience the unique atmosphere of a top sporting event!
The race will start right in Kroměříž as part of a festive morning programme featuring:
-presentation of teams and favourites,
-cultural performances,
-interviews with cyclists and guests,
-and the official start at 11:30 a.m.
Admission for fans is free!
The stage from Kroměříž to the Beskydy Mountains’ Pustevny is 177 kilometres long and features a demanding profile with almost 3,000 metres of elevation gain. The peloton will also pass through Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Valašské Meziříčí, and Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The finish on Pustevny will come after two tough climbs – the moment when the overall winner of Czech Tour 2025 will be decided.
Czech Tour 2025 – The Best of European Cycling 🚲
The Czech Tour is the largest road stage race in the Czech Republic and part of the prestigious UCI Europe Tour series. This year, it will feature more than 120 riders from the world’s elite:
- WorldTour teams: Visma | Lease a Bike, Soudal Quick-Step
- Pro and Continental teams: Red Bull–BORA-hansgrohe Rookies, Elkov–Kasper, ATT Investments, Astana Development, and more
Stars at the start include Remco Evenepoel, Julian Alaphilippe, Primož Roglič and Simon Yates.
