Wandering through Kroměříž
The tourist trail connects interesting sites in Kroměříž and is the work of local school pupils who, during the 2024/25 school year, took part in the Student Council programme. The aim of the project is not only to familiarise pupils with the functioning of local government, but also to let them experience the challenging journey from an initial idea, through turning it into a concrete proposal, getting it approved by council bodies, and finally seeing it through to realisation. In this case, the students aimed to raise awareness of interesting places in the city—both among tourists and local residents. The route is 3.5 km long and takes approximately one hour to complete. At 12 stops along the way, you’ll find QR codes that link to information about each visited location.
