BARBOŘINA

The hilltop Barbořina offers magnificent views not only of Hostýnské vrchy (part of a larger mountain‑range in the Zlín Region) but also of the whole town of Kroměříž. The walk through this urban forest is everything but boring. Your time spent here can be either active, educational, or both. It is an exceptional area, because there is an abundance of plants and vegetation in the immediate vicinity of the town. The town is still improving the trail, which should soon include running, walking, and cycle routes, workout spots, a barefoot walk, information boards, hiking markers, play and educational equipment. In the future, this space should also include a lookout tower, a shelter with an outdoor fireplace and a tree stand.
