Bunč
On the mountain range of the Chřiby hills lays a favourite tourist spot, a frequent destination of cyclists and mushroom pickers, and a recreation area: Bunč (475 m. s. l.). The first cottage (then a tourist shelter) was built here in the 1920s by the Club of Czech tourists. Nowadays, on the site of the original cottage, you will find a guest house Lesní penzion Bunč, open year‑round. You can get to Bunč from three directions – from the village Zdounky, from the village Kostelany, or from the town Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště. You can get there by car, with free parking on-site. You can also stay here. Bunč can thus become your starting point for various trips on foot, on bicycle, an in winter on cross‑country skis. The most interesting places in the vicinity are the Brdo lookout tower; nature and tourist park Chřiby; nature reserve Záskalí; natural monument Máchova dolina.
