Where beer is brewed, there is prosperity
Imagine that in Kroměříž, there are currently three microbreweries operating. All of them continue the nearly 500-year-old tradition of brewing in Kroměříž, dating back to 1560. That year, the licensed brewing citizens gathered and built a brewing complex with a courtyard next to the town hall. Although only the name “Klub Starý pivovar” (Old Brewery Club) now reminds us of the brewery’s historical building, the tradition of Kroměříž beer lives on thanks to these three microbreweries: 1. Selský pivovárek, Maxmilián, and Černý orel. Each offers authentic beers from Kroměříž, and each is unique and worth trying during a visit to the town. You will then see for yourself how well Kroměříž prospers.
